Cameron Hewes – President
Cameron Hewes is a managing director with BMO Capital Markets. Cameron has executed more than 100 M&A, advisory and financing transactions during his career, worth over $6 billion. Before joining BMO Capital Markets, he was a partner and managing director at Greene Holcomb Fisher, a leading middle market investment bank which was acquired by BMO Capital Markets. Prior to that he was an operating executive and a private equity investor. Cameron was an investment banker for seven years earlier in his career at Piper Jaffray. He is involved in many community activities in the Seattle area. Cameron serves on several corporate and non-profit boards, is a frequent public speaker, and is currently president of ACG Seattle..
Duff Bryant, Secretary
Duff Bryant is a partner of Stoel Rives in the Corporate group. He focuses his practice on significant business transactions for companies in a wide range of industries and at various stages of growth. Duff chairs the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice group and has significant experience in domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures. He has also advised and assisted numerous clients in forming, capitalizing and maintaining domestic and foreign entities. Duff also has extensive experience in secured and unsecured financings.
Sharon Gregory, Treasurer
Sharon Gregory is a partner with Moss Adams. She has been in public accounting since 2000, and has experience directing all phases of audits, including control testing, fieldwork, and report preparation for a variety of clients. Sharon works primarily with apparel and consumer-based companies, including those with retail, hospitality, and manufacturing and distribution operations. Sharon is actively involved with her clients from planning to ultimate engagement completion as well as throughout the year to stay up-to-date on the developments and activities of the company.
Paul Bailey joined CliftonLarsonAllen as a principal in 2010 bring with him 14 years of experience specializing in serving privately held businesses and their owners. He works with business owners in improving profitability, reducing risk, growing enterprise value, and planning for succession. Additionally, Paul serves in auditing, consulting, and advisory services to various clients primarily in the manufacturing and distribution industry. Paul serves as the managing principal of the Bellevue office and is responsible for services provided to a number of clients with revenue ranging from $10 million to over $100 million.
Scott Appel is an engagement partner with Tatum. Tatum provides financial and technology executives on an interim, project or staff augmentation basis. Prior to that he was the Office Managing Partner of the Irvine office of Hein & Associates, a southwest regional accounting firm where he provided public and private companies with accounting, auditing, financial reporting and business advisory services. Scott is a former board member of ACG Orange County and was chapter president in 2003 and 2004. He was also Chairman of the Board of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Orange County.
Becky Beers is a Commercial Banker with US Bank in Seattle. Becky orchestrates banking solutions—including financing, payment efficiency, and facilitating international transactions— for companies with revenues ranging from $20 million to $500 million in a variety of industries. Becky has 16-years of banking experience in a variety of roles, including positions as a Commercial Banking Credit Analyst, Private Banking Relationship Manager, and Cash Management Advisor, prior to her current role as a Commercial Banker. Becky draws on her diverse background to deliver comprehensive solutions to her clients, employing the full capabilities of the Bank.
Michael Black has more than 17 years of experience in investment banking as well as principal investing. He has participated in a variety of Mergers & Acquisitions and Equity Offering transactions throughout his career. Prior to joining First Hill Partners, Michael was a Managing Director at Zachary Scott & Co., where he lead the firms efforts in the Industrial Technology sector. While at Zachary Scott & Co. he advised private and public companies on transactions in the Aerospace, Defense, and Industrial sectors for both manufacturing and distribution companies. Before joining Zachary Scott & Co., Michael ran a search fund to acquire control positions in lower middle market companies. Prior to his search fund, he was a Managing Director in investment banking with D.A. Davidson & Co. where he lead the Semiconductor Manufacturing and Electronics Value Chain sectors. Michael began his investment banking career as an Associate with Piper Jaffray.
David Clarke is a Partner in Perkins Coie’s national Business Practice and focuses on the representation of emerging growth companies, middle market businesses, public companies, venture funds and private equity funds. David’s practice emphasizes mergers and acquisitions, private equity and growth equity transactions, venture capital financings, public offerings and corporate governance. David works with privately held clients at all stages of development, serving as outside general counsel and as a key advisor on M&A and corporate finance transactions. In addition, David represents leading venture and private equity funds in portfolio company investments. David is a regular speaker on M&A, venture capital and private equity topics.
Bob Cranmer has extensive background serving in senior executive and leadership roles with companies ranging in size from early stage to multi-billion dollar global enterprises. His co-founding of NextLevel follows 9 years as an engagement partner with Tatum and subsequent founding of the boutique firm Northwest Executive Services LLC. His earlier career spanned a period of nearly 35 years with Westinghouse Electric Corporation and Eaton Corporation incorporating senior leadership positions in finance, business development, project management, and international expansion programs. He has been in the forefront of major strategic initiatives in every growth sector of the world. Bob has served on three Boards and as an advisor and mentor to multiple companies in highly diverse industries. In addition, he is a member of the Board of the Seattle chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
Tod Finley is Executive Director and Market Executive with Chase. He managers Chase’s Middle Market Commercial Banking team that covers Seattle, Bellevue and the North Puget Sound markets. Tod has more than 22 years experience in commercial and business banking. He has more than 29 years in Banking. Tod has worked at Chase since 2009. Prior to Chase Tod worked at Banker of America where he worked for more than 18 years.
Lori C. Kaiser
Lori Kaiser is Vice President with Wells Fargo Bank, Northwest and Western Canada commercial banking division. As past Managing Partner of the Pacific Northwest practice of Tatum, LLC provided C-level operational expertise to resolve strategic and financial issues guiding organizations facing challenges due to performance issues; mergers, acquisitions and rapid growth. Lori’s background of over 25 years of experience is deep and varied with a mix of senior strategic, operational, sales, marketing and financial experience at the officer and executive levels with public ( Cray: NASDAQ) and as Vice President of Sales for food processing companies including Icicle Seafoods and growth companies, as well as just over a decade with Deloitte. Lori brings a long and diverse history of successful company turnarounds with measurable improvements in leadership. She is a lifelong Northwest native, has been active in city, county and state government while holding elected office as a City Councilperson in Snohomish County through 2007 and Snohomish County elected and appointment leadership roles until 2010. She currently serves as a Board Advisor to the National Association of Corporate Directors; Board Member of Association of Corporate Growth and Board Member of Building Changes a nonprofit with a vision to end homelessness in our communities.
As a founding partner of Alpine Pacific Capital, Todd Marker is active in all aspects of the firm’s operations. Prior to founding Alpine Pacific, Marker was a Managing Director at Montlake Capital, a Seattle-based growth equity firm where he participated in building the portfolios of two separate funds over nearly ten years. As a managing director, he led both minority and control transactions, and was actively engaged as a board member in several of the firm’s portfolio investments. Earlier in his career, Marker spent time at another Seattle-based private equity firm, held leadership positions at a venture-backed technology company and was part of an acquisitions team that helped build the largest full-service car wash chain in the U.S. He is currently on the board of H2X, LLC and serves as the Seattle Chairman of GenNext.
Sean McCann chairs the firm’s national Business and Tax Practice and leads a group of over 90 attorneys in the M&A, securities, corporate governance, trust & estates, tax and China practices. Sean advises clients on significant transactions, with a particular focus on complex mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and restructurings. He counsels boards and management teams on strategic and governance matters, and manages the firm’s relationship with several large privately-held and multi-generational family businesses. He has extensive experience advising clients in the manufacturing, distribution, food and beverage and professional services industries. Sean is currently a board member for the ACG Seattle Chapter.
Bryce Morgan has been in the public accounting field for over 30 years. In his present capacity he serves as managing director of McGladrey as well as the leader of their Seafood/Maritime industry practice. Bryce’s practice provides services to a wide variety of clients including seafood/maritime, construction, manufacturing, and services to high net worth individuals, professionals and business owners. Bryce is a regular speaker at seminars and business meetings and has presented on tax issues to such companies as Key Bank, Bank of America and other local banks.
Partner of Blue Point Capital Seattle, Mark joined the group in Cleveland in 1996 and relocated to the Seattle office in early 1997. Prior to joining the group, Mark spent time in a variety of groups within KeyCorp, including Structured Capital Markets and Investment Banking. Currently, Mark serves on the Miami University Farmer School of Business Finance Advisory Board, and serves as a director of Callison and Selmet.
John O’Dore is a newly appointed Principal and Managing Director of Kirkland-based OneAccord Capital and Head of Sell-side M&A Advisory Services. He has been a trusted advisor working with business owners and shareholders of privately held businesses for more than 25 years with leading investment banking firms such as Seattle-based Meridian Capital and global investment banking firms Credit Suisse First Boston, Merrill Lynch and Bank of America. He has closed more than 100 company sale, recapitalization, financing and M&A transactions across multiple industries ranging from branded consumer to food and beverage, manufacturing, aerospace, business services and more. For twenty years, John lived and worked across Asia in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. During his time abroad he picked up two Chinese dialects as well as global insight, which allows him to bring both local and global perspective to transactions.
Ron Wilkowski is Senior Managing Director and Pacific Northwest Commercial Banking Market Leader for Opus Bank. In his currently position, he leads market strategy and business development efforts. Wilkowski has a long history helping companies navigate the current economic climate as a trusted advisor that consults on strategic decisions, capital structure and operational efficiencies. His strong relationships with local investment banks and private equity groups are an asset to his clients. Wilkowski has specialized in consumer products and manufacturing companies, but has extensive experience structuring complex transactions in a wide variety of industries. Previously he was Managing Director of Business Development for MUFG Union Bank’s Middle Market and Corporate Banking for the State of Washington and Oregon.
